Please note the following information:

• Renting a car is a quick and easy process, and we highly recommend it if you want to freely explore the beautiful island of Puerto Rico without worrying about catching a cab.

• Uber is available in most populated areas of the island. But not as readily available as it is here in the States, there may be a longer wait time than usual, and some areas they might not be available.  

• See the recommended taxi services below.

• Most hotels also can call you a taxi (it will probably be one of these haha)

• If visiting Old San Juan for the first time, keep in mind it can be difficult to find an Uber after 9pm,
  based on personal experience, haha.

• Also based on personal experience (Tom and I accidentally had to walk 17km back down to cell service),
  if you plan to visit El Yunque Rainforest, you will need a rental car to drive up the mountain, or get down..

• Alternatively, you can book a tour through your hotel or online :)
